About Us
At Moodr (derived from “Mood Doctor”), we’re reshaping the future of healthcare across the globe in a way that only a world-class team born from the heart of Appalachia can. We know from first-hand experience that our approach of equipping healthcare providers and payors with remote behavioral health management capabilities is the most effective as well as the most economically scalable answer to today’s biggest healthcare challenges. Our solution meets patients where they are, outside the four walls — and outside the forty minutes — of a doctor’s visit.
Our team is fueled by a relentless commitment to the people who need care the most. We rally around them, understanding the incredible urgency with which our unique approach is needed.
OUR MISSION is to set the standard of engagement as a measurable driver of reimbursement, quality, and long-term viability for healthcare organizations.
OUR VISION is to elevate healthcare engagement where people, AI-driven insights, and real-world workflows come together to improve lives and systems.
Our Story
Moodr Health began with a simple insight: healthcare engagement shouldn’t be hard, fragmented, or one-size-fits-all. Our founders saw care teams stretched thin: trying to reach the right people, close gaps in care, and demonstrate impact using tools that were never designed for care delivery. Too often, engagement relied on manual processes, siloed systems, and blunt outreach that failed to meet the needs of both teams and the populations they serve.
We created the Moodr platform to change that supporting engagement at scale that is contextual, actionable, and aligned with how care actually happens; meeting people in the moment, where they are. Our solution brings together population data, existing workflows, and real-world human insights, so teams can focus less on administration and more on meaningful connection.
Today, Moodr Health partners with Medicaid plans, health systems, and safety-net organizations nationwide to help teams reach the right people at the right time, strengthen care continuity, and demonstrate progress that matters. Our work is grounded in data, guided by human connection, and designed to support organizations as they evolve, elevating care engagement from a task to trusted infrastructure that sustains better health for all.
Our Values
Equity in Access
Every approach should consider fairness and reach for underserved populations.
Human-Centered Engagement
We respect the experiences of both providers and people receiving care.
Meaningful Impact
We built tools that support measurable progress, not just activity.
Collaborative Innovations
We innovate with partners, not for them.
Clarity Over Complexity
Technology should simplify workflows, not complicate them.
